Take you back to July 1995
In this episode we each tell you a story of kids who killed kids. Same month, same year...different locations. Apologies now, something is wrong with one of our mics, we are working on sending it back to get fixed. Classic issues, if something goes right...naturally something has to break. So we apologize for the weird audio issues
Ember goes first with a sad story of the muder of 8 year old Jonathan Thimpson in Canada. 14 year old Sandy Charles and a 7-8year old friend lured Jonathan into the woods and killed him. Sandy watched warlock 1&2 too many times and thought if he did a sacrifice, he would gain the ablity to fly. We also cry in this story
We take a small break to talk about our awesome headphones and how if you go to sudiosweden.com and order some you get 15% off if you enter in COLORMEDEAD15 at check out
Angel's story is gross. Hear about how 3 teens Jacob, Joseph, and Royce ask Elyse Pahler to come party with them. Shortly after she arrives, they attack her. Her death, much like Jonathan's was not quick. Whats worse is what the boys do after she is dead, over the course of about a month.
After all the stories, Ember reads some stories from Steven Lampleys book titled Outside your Door. Stories that sound exactly like the both of them. Go to https://www.stevenlampley.com/ to learn more about Steven, his books and where to get them. Highly reccommended.
Also hit up justkillintime.org sign up now. Sweet loot boxes all dedicated to true crime could be delivered to your door every month. Shirts, collectable items, memorabilia, etc. be the first to get your hands on this box with us. we can open them all together!
Thank you to Rocky for our intro. You are a badass for doing that in hurricane Irma. Guys go listen to his show called "what the fuss" support them, they make us laugh and Rocky is a solid dude, we are happy to have him as a friend.
Also don't forget Twisted Philly and ESP. they did some promos for us and we enjoy their podcasts very much. We also mentioned Ear Hustle, go check them out. Gives a different side to life in prison that is real. Very cool.
I hope we didn't forget anything. We will be having a disclaimer at the beginning of each episode after this one and in our next episode we will talk about why and then move into our episode. Next week we start the Ripper Crew so stay tuned for that 2 part case. Until then....Stay out of chalk lines!
